The Power Of Grounding

What if there was a free and abundant source of energy that you could easily tap into?

Something which could improve your mood, raise your energy levels, better your sleep and reduce/eliminate stress?

Well, the truth is such a source indeed exists quite literally on the surface of the Earth, but unfortunately, most of us lead our lives hardly making use of this unlimited supply of energy.

I am referring to something known as Grounding or otherwise called as Earthing.

One of the easiest ways to ground yourself is to simply walk barefoot on the Earth’s surface. Walking barefoot on grass, the beach, in your yard or a park etc. are just a few ways by which you can ground yourself. When you walk with your bare feet on the ground, free electrons from the Earth are transferred into your body.

So what is the science behind it and how does it work?

Earthing researcher and Biophysicist James Oschman puts it thusly,

“The moment your foot touches the Earth, your physiology changes. An immediate normalization begins. And an anti-inflammatory switch is turned on. People stay inflamed because they never connect with the Earth. Earth is the source of free electrons which can neutralize the free radicals in the body that cause disease and cellular destruction. "

Free radicals are highly reactive and unstable molecules that are produced in the body naturally as a byproduct of metabolism.

Substances that generate free radicals can also be found in the food we eat, the medicines we take, the air we breathe and the water we drink. These substances include fried foods, pesticides and air pollutants. (Source)

Free radicals can have several adverse affects on our body such as illness, accelerated aging, damage to cells, proteins and DNA. They are even associated with diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.

So how can grounding help with this?

Grounding boosts the anti oxidants in your body, which are molecules that fight free radicals. They lessen or prevent the adverse effects of free radicals can have on the body.

Grounding yourself upwards of half an hour on a daily basis can have some fantastic benefits:

  • Improved mood

  • Improved immunity

  • Better sleep

  • Reduces or eliminates chronic pain

  • Lowers stress and promotes calmness

  • Reduced depression

  • Improved circulation

  • Relieves muscle tension and headaches

  • Reduces or eliminates jet lag

  • Reduced hormonal and menstrual symptoms

  • Increases energy

  • Accelerates recovery from athletic activity

Research suggests a general lack of grounding, also referred to as "electron deficiency syndrome," has a lot to do with the rise of modern diseases.

As Steven Magee, author of health forensics puts it,

“With approximately 50% of the USA population on prescription drugs and 10% on anti-depressants, it is clear that things are going seriously wrong with human health in the modern world.”

There is no money to be made for the multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical industry (from grounding) so don’t be surprised if you are hearing about this for the first time and find it hard to believe the benefits it can have.

Our society has been brainwashed into believing that taking medication and consulting doctors is the solution to all illnesses and chronic pain that we may become skeptical towards unbelievably simple and natural cures.

I encourage you to put grounding to the test to see and experience the benefits for yourself.

Also please pass on this information to others as everyone could benefit from grounding themselves. And unlike pharmaceutical drugs it's absolutely free and comes with no side effects, well except for dirty feet.
